Balance by Chaz

about the project:

Chaz approached me to create a professional WordPress website for her life coaching and wellness business, Balance by Chaz. I led on the branding & logo design, domain & hosting, then designed and built the site in Elementor in WordPress, combining exceptional customer journeys with a bespoke event booking system, blog, and online platform, all easy for Chaz to update blog posts, pages, and events herself.

Branding & Web Design

Chaz came prepared with a mood board and a rough logo draft, which I used as the foundation for the final branding and logo design for Balance by Chaz. The new logo guided the overall visual identity, and I created initial website design concepts with a strong focus on user experience to ensure a smooth customer journey.

From these concepts, Chaz refined her choices for colours and fonts, leading us to the final design. I then built the WordPress website in Elementor, making it fully responsive and easy for Chaz to create and update blog posts and make changes to the site herself.

Bespoke Event Booking

Alongside this, I built a bespoke events system within the WordPress site using a custom post type. This created a dedicated section on the site for Chaz’s events.

It is designed so that different types of events, such as retreats, online workshops and yoga sessions, each have their own unique page layout and design. Every event page includes a map for directions, a contact form to get in touch and clear event details.
