Is web development different from web design?
Yes. Design covers layout, visual choices and user journeys. Development implements the pages, features and systems. They work together, but a development brief also needs platform requirements, integrations and clear tests for what the finished website must do.
Which platforms do you work with?
Xeon builds WordPress websites, WooCommerce shops and Shopify stores. I recommend a route after reviewing your content, features and management needs. This service does not imply that every software platform or custom application can be supported.
Can you develop an existing website?
I can review an existing WordPress or Shopify site and scope suitable improvements. Access, theme or plugin limitations, existing code and the quality of the setup influence the work. The review helps decide whether targeted changes or a rebuild make sense.
Can you connect booking or other third-party tools?
Integrations are considered during scoping. We confirm what the chosen tools support, who owns the accounts and any recurring fees. Custom behaviour, data migration and unsupported connections need separate assessment before they can be included.
What will the project cost?
The quote reflects the pages, features, content, integrations and existing setup. Hosting, subscriptions and paid tools are identified separately. You receive an agreed scope and costs before the build starts.
Will I be able to update the website?
I provide handover for the agreed everyday tasks, such as editing pages or managing products. Changes to structure, code or integrations may need development support. Ongoing work is available under a separately defined agreement.
